A McDonald's All-American and Indiana Mr. Basketball who set the UK single-season assist record with 232 as a senior in 1986, Harden was a three-year starter who finished third all-time in career assists with 498 across 122 games. He was a key member of the 1984 Final Four team as a sophomore and helped UK go 32-4 under first-year coach Eddie Sutton during his senior campaign. His court vision and passing ability were so exceptional that Sutton called him one of the best passers he had ever coached.
