• 1.Crystal balls & predictions — Expert picks from 247Sports, On3, and Rivals analysts who track these recruits daily. A crystal ball flip (e.g., from UK to Kansas) has a major impact.
• 2.Visit activity — Official visits, campus tours, and coaching staff visits to the recruit. More recent, higher-quality contact pushes the percentage up.
• 3.Mutual interest signals — Public comments, social media engagement, and reported conversations between the recruit and coaching staff.
• 4.Competing schools — How many other programs are in the mix and where they stand. A crowded field or a strong frontrunner elsewhere pulls UK's number down.
• 5.NIL & external factors — Shoe deals, NIL negotiations, and off-court developments that may influence where a prospect lands.
