Lowe was supposed to be the answer at point guard — an All-ACC performer from Pittsburgh who averaged 16.8 points and 5.5 assists and chose Kentucky because he wanted to win a championship. Shoulder surgery ended his season, robbing this team of its floor general and primary playmaker in the most devastating injury blow of the year. His absence has been the single biggest factor in a season that hasn't met expectations, and getting him back healthy is as important as any recruit in the portal.
