At 7-1 with legitimate three-point range — 39.8% from deep at Miami of Ohio — Potter has the size-and-skill combination that NBA scouts dream about, but the question is whether he can put it together against SEC-level competition. He's redshirting this season to develop his body and his game, and that's the right decision for a young man who averaged 6.3 points per game in the MAC. A Lexington Catholic product who came home to Kentucky, Potter has the tools to be a real contributor if he puts in the work.
