The SEC Schedule Just Dropped. One Date Already Matters More Than the Rest.
The first time John Calipari walked into Rupp Arena in Arkansas red, he walked out with an 89-79 win and a building full of people who didn't know whether to boo him or thank him. Kentucky answered this January in Fayetteville — 85-77, ending a 16-game Razorback home streak and handing Cal his first loss to the program he built. The series since he left is 1-1, and the 2026-27 SEC schedule that dropped this week says the rubber match is coming back to Lexington. Circle it: a Kentucky team that returns Malachi Moreno — who scored 11 in that Fayetteville win and just turned down first-round NBA money to stay — and adds the best shooter in the portal, hosting the man who left, on the floor he used to own. Everything else on the schedule is just the road that gets us there.
