One of the rare four-year players of the John Calipari era, Poythress overcame a devastating ACL tear in 2014-15 to return and contribute to the 2015-16 team. His 142 career games across four seasons made him a beloved figure who provided veteran leadership on rosters filled with one-and-done freshmen.
